The staff at West Houston Eye has extensive experience in optometric care. We are dedicated to providing you with exceptional personalized service and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the care of your eyes.

Linda - Front Desk Manager and Insurance Expert
Linda is our front desk manager and insurance and Medicare expert.  She has been at West Houston Eye for six years and before spent fifteen years in an internal medicine practice. Linda can answer many of your questions regarding your insurance or eye appointments.  She is a native Texan and enjoys traveling, cooking, sewing, bird watching, and her dogs.  Her greatest enjoyment in life is her grandsons and great grandson.

Barb - Technician
 Barb is our friendly technician who performs the preliminary testing before you see the doctors.  Most people know her as the one who does the air puff test!  Barb also teaches the patients how to put in contact lenses and runs all the specialty diagnostic tests.   She graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in December of 2012 and has been with us since graduation.  Her hobbies include singing, cooking, going to the park, and watching movies with her fiancé Craig.

Cindy - Optician
Cindy brings seven years of experience and knowledge in the latest technology of eyewear to the West Houston Eye Team. Fluent in Spanish, Cindy was born in Houston, Texas but spent her childhood in El Salvador. She loves her Hispanic heritage, especially when it comes to dancing and food!  Her savvy sense of style and outgoing personality make her the perfect person to help patients select what frames look best on them.

Taralyn - Front Desk
Taralyn has worked at our front desk since June 2011. She loves colors, and you are likely to see her with a different pair of colorful glasses everyday. She spent 13 years in hotels before moving to Houston and joining our team. She has a passion for reading, and her family is a very important part of her life. They like camping, family reunions, and meeting for family lunches and spending a lot of time together.
